Yet less than a year later, he “returned” on-screen—via generative AI—in the upcoming film As Deep as the Grave, where the production reportedly recreated his likeness and voice despite him not filming scenes for the project before his death.
This isn’t just another uncomfortable debate about art and technology. It’s a preview of a new labor reality: your economic value—your voice, face, and style—can keep working after you’re gone.
